WHAT'S SO SPECIAL ABOUT BLUES DANCE?
Blues Dance can be slow or fast, and somewhere in-between. But importantly it brings out the emotions from Blues Music into your dance: sad, joy, grief, love, oppression & passion. You'll learn the over century-old history and roots of Blues Dance with techniques & moves from the African influences to the Harlem house rent parties to modern day late night dances seen at swing dance events. Blues dancing developed over a century into a style of its own. Pure emotion.
